Triple j’s Play School Remix Winner Announced
After months of waiting, 19-year-old producer COPYCATT has taken the crown as triple j Unearthed’s Play School Remix competition winner!
To honour the iconic children’s shows’ 50th anniversary triple j launched a competition aimed at blossoming producers to take the shows theme song and reform it into an on fire, shit hot remix. With a staggering 600 remixes submitted there competition was fierce.
It was producer COPYCATT who took out the competition against four other finalists with his chimey, sunshine soaked remix. Inspired by the likes of Skrillex and Bon Iver, he created the strange juxtaposition of bass drops and delicate percussion sounds.
As triple j’s winner he gets to have a grand tour around the Play School studio and attend a song writing work shop with triple j’s House Party presenter KLP.
