Twilight At Taronga Zoo & Melbourne Zoo Twilights Back for 2017!

It’s back for another year, and it’s bigger than ever! Sydney’s Taronga Park Zoo and Melbourne Zoo have just announced their latest series of the Twilight at Taronga and Melbourne Zoo Twilight Sessions.

There is an unbelievable spread of artists coming along for the ride, with something for anyone and everyone! Hitting up The Zoos are a plethora of acts, including massive international names such as American virtuoso Kurt Vile, Canadian pop sensations Tegan And Sara, as well as .

Coming along for the ride are bunch of local faves too, including Midnight Oil frontman Peter Garret, triple j Hottest 100 2015 winners The Rubens, Brisbane babes Ball Park Music, and folk-punk three-piece The Living End.

The 2017 series of shows will see both zoos champion against causes in the international wildlife world, with Taronga Zoo championing a community action tool called Wildlife Witness, which will help fight against illegal wildlife trade, and Zoos Victoria continuing their fight to help Eastern Barred Bandicoot extinction.

Purchasing a ticket will get you same-day free entry to both zoos between 5:30-7:00pm, so you’ve got plenty of time to check out the animal dudes before heading to the stage.

Last year’s series saw acts such as San Cisco, Last Dinosaurs, and Birds of Tokyo take to the stage in support for both Zoos, their programs, and the local endangered animals.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on 25 October, so you’ve got plenty of time to check out the full lineups— and our specially curated playlist below!
