Two Door Cinema Club Drop Glitchy NSFW Music Video For “Bad Decisions”
Beloved Indietronic 3-piece Two Door Cinema Club have made no Bad Decisions in their latest, and most glitchy music video to date.
The clip for Bad Decisions sees an animated Two Door Cinema Club move through a vividly computer generated world. Between ‘Tron’ style car racing, poorly cel-shaded objects, and tumblr-like GIFs, the video marks the trio’s first attempt to make a purely CG video.
Throwing around influences from David Bowie, The 1975, and Michael Jackson, the band’s sound has matured to fit their new and more electronic aesthetic, featuring gorgeous falsettos and powerful synthesisers. The electronic and glitchy clip is a fun and surreal experience, perfectly accompanying the band’s signature sound of funky bass riffs and synthetic drumbeats.
The trio’s previous video for Are We Ready began to show off their kooky side, featuring 80s style cinematography, careful product-placement, and lots of hair-gel. From the looks of both music videos, fans can expect Two Door Cinema Club’s latest musical efforts to be far more experimental and electronic than previous releases.
Give the lad’s music video for Bad Decisions a listen below! Be warned, the first 20 seconds may be a bit NSFW – just don’t let your boss see…
