Tyne-James Organ Drops Vibrant New Single ‘One Way Ticket’ and Announces Second Album
Sydney-based alt-rock artist Tyne-James Organ has unveiled his energetic new single, One Way Ticket, the lead track from his upcoming sophomore album, The Other Side, set for release on May 16.
Produced and co-written with ARIA Award-winner Chris Collins (Gretta Ray, Budjerah, Royel Otis) in the serene Byron Bay hinterland, One Way Ticket bursts with infectious melodies and raw, heartfelt energy. Tyne describes the track as a refreshing reflection of his evolving sound, born from a spontaneous creative process that included late-night jam sessions and unexpected bursts of inspiration.
The creation process was just a whole mood. In the first day of putting ‘One Way Ticket’ together we’d only fleshed out the bed of the arrangement and instrumentation. A few melodies and lyrics were swirling but nothing was popping. I knew it had an energy and I felt a stubbornness in myself when figuring the melodic side out. After a few Guinnesses at the pub, I went back to my accom for the night, rolled a joint and put my headphones on. Then as I usually do, I just played the instrumental track over and over whilst dancing away until the melodies you hear now came to life. I recorded some voice memos and took them back to the studio the next day, spent some time workshopping lyrics and it was all there.” – Tyne-James Organ.

Following the success of previous singles Blue and All On Me—which dominated national radio and racked up over 350K streams—One Way Ticket offers a glimpse into the next chapter of Tyne’s musical journey.
