Unreleased David Bowie Album To Be Included In Latest Box Set

David Bowie

Plans to release an unheard album in the recently deceased pop sensation David Bowie box set ‘Who Can I Be Now 1974-1976’ are underway, with a possible release date being dropped by Parlophone Records next week.

A longtime friend and producer of Bowie, Tony Visconti revealed through Bowie’s Facebook page the release of the box set. Visconti has spoken of the meaning they wished to portray with the album: “Gouster was a word unfamiliar to me (…) but in the context of the album its meaning was attitude, an attitude of pride and hipness. Of all the songs we cut we were enamored of the ones we chose for the album that portrayed this attitude,” he said.

The Facebook post also includes a previously unreleased photo from the original photoshoot for ‘The Gouster’. According to the Facebook post, the album will also include a “brand new, funkafied version” of I’m Only Dancing.
