VB’s Hard Yards Announce 2018 Winners & Tour Dates
The long, hard search for VB’s Hard Yards 2018 competition has come to close with three bands taking it out. Being Jane Lane, Paper Thin and Claws & Organs have scored a spot to play four shows across the east-coast.
Over 600 bands from Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria battled it out over a couple of months before shaving it down to an egregious shortlist. Accruing a combined more than 4000 votes, Being Jane Lane from Queensland, Paper Thin from New South Wales and Victoria’s Claws & Organs took it out. They’ve deserved a cool, crisp VB.
Best of all, each location will have a new band to headline. For four nights in October, the tour begins—starting off in Melbourne with none other than Alex Lahey heading the pack. Brisbane’s finest, WAAX, are running the rules in their next of the woods, while RAAVE TAPES cosy up in Newcastle Tired Lion power on for the final leg in Sydney at the Lansdowne.
