Viagra Boys Announce New Album ‘viagr aboys’ Ahead of 2025 Infinite Anxiety Tour
Swedish post-punk provocateurs Viagra Boys are back with their bold new album, ‘viagr aboys’, it out today via their freshly minted label, Shrimptech Enterprises. Co-produced with longtime collaborator Pelle Gunnerfeldt, the record delivers a chaotic blend of humour, chaos, and sharp cultural commentary—hallmarks that have cemented the Stockholm outfit as one of modern punk’s most compelling voices.
‘viagr aboys’ dives deep into absurdity and introspection. Lead single ‘Man Made of Meat’ pulls no punches with its bizarre lyricism, while ‘Uno II’ turns Murphy’s real-life anxiety about his Italian greyhound into a twisted, conspiratorial jam. Tracks like ‘The Bog Body’ and ‘Waterboy’ showcase the band’s sonic evolution, layering bass-heavy grooves with distorted saxophones and eerie synth textures.
