VIDEO SPOTLIGHT: Caravãna Sun’s Music Video Will Brighten Up Your Day

New South Welshmen Caravãna Sun have released the music video from their fresh single Open Up, and it’s full of good ol’ Aussie spirit. Open Up is the second single from the indie-rock quartet’s forthcoming third album ‘Guerrilla Club’, which is set to be their most ambitious release to date.

Open Up instantly gets your head bopping and body grooving along to its blues-inspired bass and guitar riffs, backed by clean drumming. Vocalist Luke Carra’s charming delivery is super soothing and immediately puts you in a chill vibe.

But after about a minute and a half the vocals cease and Caravãna Sun let the instruments do the talking, breaking into an entrancing psychedelic trumpet solo. The lads then proceed to build up to an explosive finish laden with jazzy goodness and cascading synthesiser work.

The music video is also visually beautiful and will hit many Aussie with many memories of perfect days at the beach. The Sydneysiders filmed the video while on a soul-invigorating adventure in The Kimberleys  in Northern Western Australia, as they journey alongside three generations of Indigenous men. The video showcases Australia’s raw beauty, proving that behind our soaring temperatures and drop bears the dryer parts are still worth of being cherished.
