VIDEO SPOTLIGHT: Hey Geronimo’s ‘Boredom’ Features Literally Everyone!

Brisbane darlings Hey Geronimo have perfectly paid tribute to Aussie rockers TISM with their music video for single Boredom. We freakin’ love it!!

Recreating the masked revellers Thunderbirds Are Coming Out clip, Hey Geronimo pay homage to the cult icons whilst highlighting the immense array of Queensland musical talent. Featuring local acts such as Being Jane Lane, Good Boy, and Jeremy Neale, to national icons such as Sheppard, the single shot music video is stupidly funny and one catchy tune.

Concluded by a cameo by none other than TISM themselves, the video acts as the first taste of new music from Hey Geronimo, with the announcement of their debut album‘Crashing Into The Sun’  following the release of the Boredom video.

‘Crashing Into The Sun’ will be released on the 20th of May and will see the band explore everything from warped indie rock to alt-rock like their masked Melbourne idols, TISM.

Unfortunately, there is no word yet on any upcoming shows in Queensland, but for lucky Sydneysiders, you can catch Hey Geronimo on their Longest Shortest Tour, which sees the band play 10 different venues around Sydney in one day. Geez they’re hard working fellas!
