Wanna Make Kimchi? Check Out Formidible Vegetable Sound System’s Video
Eclectic dance outfit Formidible Vegetable Sound System have released an informative video for their track Kimchi. Promoting the tastiness of this fermented dish, the video is a how-to-video on how you can create kimchi yourself!
Kimchi is oddly a catchy swing tune, with a mix of acoustic and dance sounds rounding out this recipe. It features a groovy rhythm, backed by some clarinet and bass work that’ll make you feel like you’re back in the 50’s, and make you want some of that Korean pickled goodness.
But the video is the real talking point here, because it’s educational and that’s important! With plenty of colour and vegetables, this video informs you how great kimchi is, and how easy it is to make. The whole Fremantle outfit successfully make the “fermenty, probiotic, flavour jamboree”, getting covered in veggies and sauces from head to toe throughout.
This is the first single from their forthcoming ‘Grow Do It’, which is sure to be an interesting and delicious release, and full vitamins and nutrients for our growing minds. Funnily enough, the albums is actually set to be a kids album, but they want adults to have a boogie too.
The band have been killing it worldwide, playing festivals and shows in over 14 countries, including Glastonbury Festival! They’ll be hitting the road in Australia in September and October, travelling in their oil-powered van.
Formidible Vegetable Sound System’s sophomore album ‘Grow Do It’ is set to be released Friday, 2nd of September.
