Want to Make a Panic! At the Disco Music Video?

Panic PS

Infamous group Panic! At the Disco are giving young fans a chance to flex their creative muscle in a competition announced alongside the group’s recent music video for Victorious.

The competition gives fans the chance to display their interpretation of Victorious. The group have teamed up with Music Choices and The All-American High School Film Festival for the competition. Sole criteria for the competition is that entrants are of high school age or younger, otherwise there is no restrictions for entrants. Any nationality can enter!

If you were a teen during the mid 2000s you’ll no doubt remember Panic! At the Disco for their catchy emo pop sounds that fueled angst across the world. The group’s debut album ‘A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out’ remains one of the most memorable albums of the mid-2000s emo scene.

2013 marked a change for the group, deviating from their sound to more of a synth-pop affair for their fourth album ‘Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!’. This change in sound has carried over to the group’s latest album ‘Death of a Bachelor’, which dropped on January 15, 2016.

Top picks for the competition will be screened at AMC Empire Theaters in Times Square, with the winner of the competition receiving even more opportunities. They’ll have the chance to direct an episode of Music Choice television show ‘Behind The Lines’, along with having their winning clip air across Music Choice’s multiple outlets.

The winner will be announced at the 2016 Teen Indie Awards in October, as you would expect from the teen-centric competition.

“I can’t wait to see the submissions we get from budding creatives around the world to bring the music video for Victorious to life!” said Brandon Urie, frontman of Panic! At The Disco.
