WayHome Festival Cuts Splendour’s Grass

While we wait biting our nails in anticipation of the Splendour In The Grass ‘16 lineup release, Canadian festival WayHome Music & Arts Festival dropped a drool-worthy bill of International artists to break the hearts of many SITG patrons.

SITG 2010 headliner, LCD Soundsystem were expected by many to make a return to Byron this July but this theory has been abruptly eliminated from expectations as they hit up the Canadian festival.

More lovable acts that have been ruled out for SITG by WayHome are Arcade Fire, The Killers, CHVRCHES, FKA Twigs, Foals, and Chet Faker.

Also overthrowing many popular theories is Mo Pop Festival in Detroit, MI. Stealing away FIDLAR, G-Easy, HAIM, Glass Animals, and Mac DeMarco, Mo Pop Festival has built itself a lineup to bring you to your knees.

Nevertheless, Splendour shall stand to bring pleasure to our ears and be the almighty bearer of good vibes despite the discouraging news from international festivals. While we await the lineup release of SITG ’16 with uneasy sleep we can bask in our envy of WayHome and Mo Pop.
