Wet Leg Announce New Album moisturizer and Drop Fiery Single ‘catch these fists’
Indie rock sensations Wet Leg are back with a bang, announcing their highly anticipated second album, moisturizer, set for release on July 11. To mark the occasion, the award-winning band has dropped the electrifying first single, ‘catch these fists’, a dance-punk anthem packed with pulsing basslines, gritty synths, and front-woman Rhian Teasdale’s signature deadpan delivery.
Building on the massive success of their self-titled debut— which earned them Grammy and BRIT Award wins—Wet Leg have evolved into an even more dynamic force. This new record sees them double down on their distinctive mix of quirky lyricism, raw energy, and sharp social commentary, working once again with producer Dan Carey.

Written in a creative whirlwind while living together in Southwold, moisturizer promises a collection of high-energy love songs and biting kiss-offs, showcasing a band that has embraced their weird and wonderful identity. The album art itself hints at the boldness within, featuring Teasdale and Hester Chambers with elongated, monstrous claws and eerie grins.
We were just kind of having fun and exploring,” says Chambers. “We focussed on: Is this going to be fun to play live? It was very natural that we would write the second record together” adds Teasdale.
With moisturizer, Wet Leg are turning up the volume, the attitude, and the fun—and we can’t wait to hear more. Watch the ‘catch these fists’ video now and get ready for July 11!
