What So Not Drops Hyped New EP, ‘Motions’ Ahead of Epic Bunnings Rave

Iconic Australian DJ and producer What So Not has just released his highly anticipated EP, Motions, a stunning four-track collection that serves as a heartfelt tribute to dance music. Fresh off his Dance Dance Revival tour and with buzz surrounding his upcoming rave at a Bunnings Warehouse, What So Not is once again making waves worldwide.

Motions is a journey through different sonic landscapes, each track crafted with collaborators from around the globe. The EP includes the top 40 Shazam hit Lights Go Out featuring Benson and Lucy Lucy, as well as the standout single Realise with French producer Habstrakt and LA-based singer Maiah Manser. Emerson describes the EP as an exploration of emotions and textures, likening each track to flowers blooming in different seasons.

“What is the sound of this feeling? This texture? How do you reflect audibly what it’s like to walk barefoot in the grass on a foggy autumn morning? Where do I draw creation from and what are these visions representative of in my psyche? This has been my exploration through this EP.”Chris Emerson, What So Not.

Adding a visual dimension to the release, What So Not has also created cinematic visualisers for each track, further immersing listeners in the world he’s crafted. Before returning to Australia for his much-hyped Bunnings rave, What So Not will be performing at the legendary Burning Man festival in Nevada, solidifying his status as a global dance music force.
