Australia’s favourite summertime party is back — Wildlands Festival 2026 has officially been announced, with the much-loved event returning to Brisbane on New Year’s Day and Perth on January 3rd, 2026. Presented by Untitled Group, Beyond The Valley and triple j, the single-day festival promises another unforgettable year of world-class music, immersive production and unbeatable summer vibes.
The shift to New Year’s Day in Brisbane marks a fresh era for Wildlands, allowing headliners to play peak-time slots as fans kick off the year in style. Perth’s edition follows shortly after, bringing the Wildlands energy back to the west coast with full force.
Last week, the Wildlands 2026 teaser video dropped, soundtracked by Luude’s festival anthem Fun in The Sun. Featuring dogs breaking free and running wild towards the festival, the playful clip perfectly captures the unstoppable spirit of Wildlands.
Punters can expect a massive Wildlands lineup once again, with past editions featuring huge acts such as Tyler, The Creator, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Peggy Gou, Central Cee, FISHER and more. 2026 will also see reimagined stage designs, including a brand-new 360-degree ‘in the round’ stage with a 4-point sound system for a fully immersive experience.
