WIN: Score Yourself + 5 Friends A Chuckle And A Feed At Haha SingSong #5

Jouk Mistrow

Are you a laughter fan? Of course you are! If you weren’t, you’d be reading articles on one of our competitor’s sub-par websites. With that in mind, we have the event for you!

The Foundry is hosting the fifth iteration of the Haha SingSong Stand Up Comedy & Music event this weekend, it looks like it’s going to be a good collections of riffs and rib-ticklers!

The collection of young comedians, or YC’s as the organisers are calling them, include Joel Spargo and Sam Bowden, with David McNevin headlining. McNevin has been labelled “a tasty little YC”, so you know that he’s going to have you salivating for some jocular quips.
As well as the sensible chuckles, chortles and knee-slappers, you’ll get to get a mite sway-ey with Brisbane rockers SILKACID. These alt-rockers dropped their first single Detlefsen earlier this month, and between the raspy vocals, thundering drums and solid riffing, the track sounds like the right kind of throw back to 90s alt rock and grunge.

Alongside SILKACID is Jouk Mistrow, who have combined Sticky Finger’s vocals with an alt-rock sound and a nihilistic tone in their latest track The Downstare. Choppy guitar and bass are complimented with the feel of a whole different kind of chop in the track, which is held together with interesting vocal harmonies.

Now the next question is: are you a fan of free sh*t? ‘Cause AAA Backstage has the opportunity to give away a pass for you and five friends to head along to Haha SingSong where you’ll get your own private possie with some mean feeds thanks to Greaser! All you have to do is comment with a photo of your best visual pun of an object around your house/office/cell!

Have a listen to Jouk Mistrow and SILKACID below, and check out the deets for Haha SingSong!
