Winterbourne Promise Big Things For New EP

Welcome to 2016 Winterbourne! Central coast lads James Draper and Jordan Brady have dropped a single, announced an EP, and released tour dates. So gather round, turn your hearing aids up, and get amongst what is 100 per cent going to be one of the biggest drops of the year.

The duo started out on the streets playing early market days and acoustic sets. But the pair have skyrocketed onto the Australian music scene with their debut EP that dropped almost two years ago. The boys blend everything good about folk story telling with sophisticated electric layers drizzled with Draper’s raw vocals.

Their latest single Shape takes their direction onwards and upwards with a track that captures Winterbourne’s past, but opens our eyes up to their future. Shape‘s a head bopping, dance worthy tune that’s heavy on the bass drum and would certainly make a beautiful addition to any road trip mix tape (they’re still a thing right?).

But the good news doesn’t end there, the single release is buddied with a tour and EP announcement, which is just about bloody time really. May 27 will see ‘Pendulum’ start ticking its way onto our airwaves, before they jump onto the wide open road in early June for a national tour. The boys tease some psychedelic musings and a lot of layered crescendoes that goes beyond their past work. Full bodied musical goodness is coming your way AAA readers!
