ZUSO Unveils Hypnotic New Single ‘Erase You’ Featuring Matilda Pearl

Australian electronic producer ZUSO has returned with his latest entrancing release, Erase You, featuring the dynamic vocals of Matilda Pearl. This emotionally charged track offers a glimpse into his upcoming EP, weaving together ethereal melodies, rich atmospheric textures, and poignant lyricism.

What began as an impromptu studio session quickly evolved into one of ZUSO’s most naturally composed songs. Originally titled For What It Once Was, the song reflects on fading connections and lost relationships.

“‘Erase You’ is probably one of the most effortless songs I’ve written to date. It was never meant to be a song either—I was just messing around with chords and melodies and ended up creating such a powerful progression that I knew I had to turn it into something.”

Recognising the need for a compelling vocal, ZUSO sent the demo to Matilda Pearl, who instantly resonated with the track’s mood. Within hours, she had crafted a mesmerizing vocal performance, inspiring him to finalize the song the very same day.

“I knew it needed a vocal, so I sent a half-finished demo to Matilda, and within a few hours, she got back to me. It sounded amazing, and I knew I had to finish the song that same day. That was almost a year ago now, and we’ve been sitting on it for a while, but it’s finally out, and I hope it’s something you all can connect with and enjoy.”

Erase You marks another exciting step in ZUSO’s rising career, setting the stage for his forthcoming EP. With more collaborations on the horizon, he continues to solidify his place in Australia’s electronic music scene.
