CAMP COPE Keep Growing With New Single
Melbourne 3-piece CAMP COPE have released their latest single Keep Growing, the first song since their debut album!
CAMP COPE first appeared on the national radar early this year, with the release of their self-titled debut album in April. Since then, the trio have been busy playing shows across the country, and won the Best Emerging Act at The Age Music Victoria Awards.
Keep Growing is a powerful, brutally honest track, opening with the lyrics: “Still can’t decide whether I wanna waste money or waste my time/I’ll probably stay inside; never really been the social type”. It has a simple arrangement, featuring a walking bass, powerful drums, and jangly guitar, which is accompanied by the distinct singing of vocalist Georgia Maq. Keep Growing shows that a song doesn’t need to be musically complex for it to be catchy, interesting, and raw.
Initially being released as a standalone single, Keep Growing is confirmed to be on an upcoming yet-to-be-announced release, that is very special to the band.
