Airbourne Have 100’s Of Marshall Amps + Fight Club In “Rivalry” Video
In anticipation for their upcoming album ‘Breakin’ Outta Hell’, Aussie rockers Airbourne have released a killer music video for their latest single Rivalry!
Their lead single and album title track Breakin’ Outta Hell is a party-starter which showed the quartet are rocking hard as ever. Now they’ve just given us all another reason to get excited for the album drop with Rivalry, a stadium anthem full of loud instrumentals and in-your-face rock.
Rivalry picks up energy instantly with punchy riffs and chants. The verses will put a strut in your step with the hard-hitting beats, which lead to a chorus that will make you wanna throw your fist in the air while you sing along.
The music video starts with a mystery man pulling up in a dark parking lot and getting out of his car, which is blasting Breakin’ Outta Hell of course, as he heads into a dingy dark building, and jumps straight into a fight with someone else. A rowdy crowd cheers him on and the two tackle each other with no remorse, there’s serious ‘Fight Club’ vibes…
The dirty underground fight is cut with shots of Airbourne rocking hard on a giant stage, complete with stadium lights and smoke machines. Does the contrast between the group’s lavish live setup and the dirty underground fight club have a deeper meaning? We’ll let you decide.
This is classic, in-your-face rock ‘n’ roll at its finest. Airbourne formed in 2003 in Victoria and three albums later they’ve now cemented themselves as Aussie pub rock royalty – AC/DC’s Angus Young has even sung their praises!
Keep your ears open for ‘Breakin’ Outta Hell’ which is set to drop THIS Friday. In the meantime, check out the music video and tour dates below!
