Aussie Metalcore Heroes Northlane Announce Intimate Shows
Sydney’s metalcore giants Northlane have announced a brief stint of intimate Australian shows this November along with a Deluxe re-release of their award winning ARIA Chart topping album ‘Node’.
Northlane have come a pretty long way in a relatively short amount of time since their inception in 2009. After the departure of their founding vocalist Adrian Fitipaldes, Northlane held auditions over social media allowing fans the chance of becoming the new frontman.
Marcus Bridge was the victor and made his debut on the one of the heaviest Northlane tracks to date, Rot, and went on to record their third studio album ‘Node’. Following the success of The ‘Node’ Tour and an impressive pate of UK shows and festivals last year, Northlane will return to play smaller, more intimate venues that have not experienced a solid Northlane flogging since 2013.
Joining Northlane will be the mighty Hellions! Coming off the back of their sold-out ‘Quality Of Life’ Tour and following the release of their latest album ‘Opera Oblivia’, which debuted at #4 on the ARIA Album Charts, Hellions are running high with stellar reviews and an epic live shows. Fellow Sydney heavy hitters Polaris will kick the shows off with their melodic, technical metalcore which is sure to get crowds moving!
The Deluxe edition of ‘Node’ features a whole batch of new songs including a massive instrumental, a Tame Impala cover and some different versions of a few ‘Node’ bangers recorded during the epic Ghost City Sessions in Germany!
Tickets go on sale Thursday 18 August at 9 am. In the meantime catch Northlane’s awesome interactive 360 video for Weightless below!
