Beddy Rays Announce Mammoth National Tour and Debut Album

Following from their fast-paced single, Sort It Out, QLD’s very own Beddy Rays have announced a mammoth national tour and a release date for their debut self-titled album which is penned in for release on Friday 29 July.

Stopping over in most majors including Perth, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Hobart, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne and more, fans are sure to be treated to quite the show. Known for their massive stage energy Beddy Rays are not to be missed live.

The Brisbane four-piece have had quite the ride since their debut release, having racked up some huge online streams, a place in Triple J’s hottest 100, multiple QMA nominations winning Levi’s Music Prize and covering Thelma Plums Better In Blak for Triple J’s Like A Version, it’s about time we get a full feature album!

“When we started a band many years ago as young whipper snappers in Reddy Bay all we wanted to do was play gigs, sink tins and chat to all the legends we’d meet along the way. Now we have our very own album firmly in our grip, and to say we’re excited is a major understatement. We decided to go with a self-titled album for our debut because we believe this album IS Beddy Rays through-and-through. It’s honest, raw and nothing other than what we’re all about… mateship, Reddy Bay, good times and beers, but also the importance of looking after yourself and checking in with ya mates. It’s made up of our recent singles and a bunch of brand newies we’ve been cooking up for you legends. A nice mixed bag of lollies! We hope you love it as much as we do!” – Beddy Rays
