Borneo’s Big News: New Single, Tour & Record Deal

Borneo are kings of modern rock. If you’re yet to catch this dynamic Sydney five-piece in a live setting yet, you’re doing yourself a massive disservice. However, it won’t be long until Borneo hit a city near you as the group have some big news!

Following on from their bombastic, Australiana-tinged anthem, Hold Me in a River, Borneo are pleased to share their most affluent and transparent single to date, Boyfriend. Accompanied with a raucous film clip, it embodies the band’s dynamite humour and panache for the live performance. It’s yet another taste of their debut EP titled, ‘Alert’, due 12 May.

Boyfriend is a clever and poignant observation of having your parents split up and start dating again. More than a few people can vouch for this, so who better to see you through the tough times is the funky-punky rock stylings of Borneo?

To add to that, Borneo are pleased to announce they’ve signed to esteemed local record, Habit, along with a publishing deal by Gaga Music Publishing.

Catch the group boosting up the east coast in May and June for a whole stack of new songs and some of the best dancing, singing and onstage personas you’ve yet to see.
