Byron Rockers PLTS Drop Bangin’ Single + Announce East Coast Tour

Byron Bay’s best kept secret PLTS (Pilots) have just dropped their latest single Astoria. The triple j unearthed winners are coming off the back of their addition at Splendour In The Grass and are shaping up to hit the road yet again on a string of headline shows before jumping on as support for Brisbane punks Columbus on their national tour through November.

Astoria is an alt-rock gem that is both catchy and hard hitting. With a very pop rock vibe in the verse, the track quickly turns to a chunkier, rocky chorus that is edgy with its punk infused instrumentals and vocal gymnastics.

PLTS have transitioned from an indie-rock sound to a grittier, more distorted with Astoria which seems to suit the melodic style of the band a lot more. In celebration of Astoria’s release, PLTS will play shows along the east coast before meeting up with Columbus for their ‘Spring Forever’ tour.
