Cedarsmoke Bring The Alternative Nostalgia With Keep Passing The Open Windows
Brisbane rockers Cedarsmoke have returned with another super catchy lo fi-esque grunge rattler Keep Passing The Open Windows. It’s taken form their upcoming EP Everything Is The Worst which is due for release later this month.
The latest tune follows on from their November release Pure Heroin, which paid homage to Sid Vicious and Nancy Sprungen, which in the video took us on a animated drug fueled trip.

Keep Passing The Open Windows has a real 90’s alternative ring to it. In the first few seconds of listening it’s easy to picture a coming of age soundtrack. Out of tune vocals, flanged out basslines and fun twangy guitars. Cedarsmoke have done a real good job at emulating a culture that I grew up with. Think Levi 501’s, plain white tees, flannel shirt around waste and skateboard under arm.
Cedarsmoke will be launching their new EP, ‘Everything Is The Worst’ at Brisbane’s The Bearded Lady on the 9th of April.
