Circumnavigate Drop Dreamy Love Song ‘Shy Love’

London 4-piece Circumnavigate recently dropped a delicate slice of dream-pop with single ‘Shy Love’.

The Oslo-hailing band create a unique blend of dream-pop that draws influence from Nordic artistry as well as modern influences like Bon Iver & Billie Eilish. This is the second single from the group’s upcoming EP, with their previous track ‘Layer You Up’ quickly amassing 30,000 streams within the first week alone.

‘Shy Love’ feels like a breath of fresh air, with sweet, ethereal vocals that ring out over gentle keys and softly layered instrumentation. The captivating track was written during lockdown, meaning the band communicated the whole process through video chat and file transfers, and was entirely produced by lead singer Sigrid Zeiner.

The band describe the meaning behind the track, saying the love song “follows a blooming relationship where feelings are strong, mutual and obvious, yet totally unspoken – two lovers, too shy to confess their feelings but content with it nonetheless.”

Drift into the lush escape that is ‘Shy Love’ now!
