Deafpony Bring The Indie Fuzz In 97 Seconds With Latest Single, Some New Bruises To Share

UK indie-alternative 3 piece Deafpony have returned with a stunning new single Some New Bruises To Share. It’s a loud track that touches on suffering through mental health issues the band have had to deal with. It’s a short punchy track that is in and out with it’s point in under 2 mins.

The band have previously released two EP’s, Favourite (2017) and Tourist (2020) that see the band dealing with mental health problems through the escape in their music. Some New Bruises To Share is a big fuck you to that feeling. The 1:37 long track is a cyclone of feelings as we’re presented with loud synths, dirty guitar riffs and an experimental vocal delivery. It has moments of big sonic sounds likened to that of Animal Collective but with a more indie rock approach similar to mid 90’s alt vibes.

This track is raw, aggressive but has a harmony that kind of bleeds cool. I feel it could have been a tad bit longer but in saying that the short and sweet punching vibe suits that track perfectly. No more is needed to get it’s point across. Deafpony have presented music that hits you in the heart and leaves you wanting some more.

Some New Bruises To Share is available now, everywehere.
