Eilis Frawley Lays Out The Facts In Her New Single, ‘Stats’

Berlin based Eilis Frawley has today unveiled her new single, Stats. It follows on from her very well received EP Never Too Emotional and singles Illusions and Strangers.

Stats is an interesting tune that has classic indie-dance style drums and clever samples with an overlay of a very catchy spoken word vocal delivery. It’s reminiscent of the mid 00’s DFA Records kind of vibe. Super cool yet super important in it’s lyrical approach. It touches on the awkward and troubling encounters that woman go through on the daily.

“Stats tells the story of the everyday hardship women encounter. It’s tiring walking with keys between your knuckles, or pretending to talk on the phone on the train station platform late at night. We’ve developed thick skin for public life, but i’m still dreaming of a world where we don’t have to change who we are to walk out the door.” Eilis Frawley

The track has a super accurate accompanying animated video. The video is laid out in a way that really hits home. Overall this tune sounds light hearted but points out some straight important facts. Give the video a watch below.

Stats is available now, everywhere.
