Garbage Drop Aussie Tour & Spend A Day On The Green

Garbage

One of your favourite Mansons (Shirley) is landing on our shores later this year when rock giants Garbage tour Australia. The 90s alt rockers will be taking on dates all across the country, on their own tour and as a headliner for A Day On The Green.

The band will be returning to Australian shores for the first time since 2013, when they were part of one of the biggest Soundwave lineups alongside blink-182, Metallica, and The Offspring. The tour will see some huge local acts including The Temper Trap, The Preatures, Tiny Little Houses, and Olympia supporting all around the country.

Indoor theatre shows in Melbourne, Sydney, and Wollongong will be followed by the string of outdoor concerts in the Yarra Valley, Adelaide, Perth, Hunter Valley, and back to Brisbane as part of A Day On The Green. In case you’re unfamiliar, if you’re a fan of a drop of the vino you’re in luck, as four of the dates will be taking place at wineries, so you can probably find a bottle of the finest red or white.

The tour is in support of the band’s sixth album ‘Strange Little Birds’, which is receiving rave reviews worldwide. Tickets go on sale on Monday, 8th of August! Listen to the band’s recent single Empty and check out the tour dates below!
