Haiku Hands Tease Upcoming Debut Album With Energetic Single ‘Manbitch’

Australian electro-pop outfit Haiku Hands have just dropped their latest tune ‘Manbitch’, a brilliant new addition to their growing collection of electrifying bangers.

Haiku Hands explore a variety of social issues through their witty lyrical and visual content, producing explosive hits such as ‘Not about you’, which currently has almost 4 million streams on Spotify. The trio are coming off the back of a huge year, having signed to Diplo’s label Mad Decent, played at SXSW and toured the US- performing with the likes of Tame Impala, Sofi Tukker and Hermitude.

‘Manbitch’ is an intoxicating soundscape of layered vocals, zesty instrumentals and their signature provocative lyrics, collectively creating a high energy track that is a guaranteed mood-lifter. Speaking on the tongue-in-cheek humour and empowering nature of the song they noted that “we were laughing our heads off as we wrote it… it’s a club banger and a reimagining of the concept ‘bitch’ for anyone from any gender identification who would like to use it, own it and flex it”.

The group have been performing ‘Manbitch’ at live shows for years, explaining that the colourful track “was one of the first songs we ever wrote together”. They finally brought it to the digital world with the help of Joel Ma (TZU), writing and recording it in his studio in Melbourne and then adding extra production flavour with Elgusto (Hermitude).

With their debut album set to be released in August this year, be sure to stay tuned for more exciting news and infectious tunes from Haiku Hands.
