Hayden Calnin Unleashes Beastly New Single
Hayden Calnin’s new track Ultra-Beast has the beloved Matt Corby’s stamp all over it, and we love it! Corby’s penchant for echoing, cinematic instrumentation and trademark falsetto flows through this dreamy new release.
Calnin’s pure vocals get the song off to a strong start, accompanied by beautifully sparse instrumentation and hypnotic slow claps. The track explores the full range of the piano and building on the base for a short chorus section, creating an ethereal, fantasy film soundtrack vibe. The heavy drum beats and pulsating synthesisers are the last piece of the puzzle, giving an anthemic feel to an otherwise soft, mellow tune.
Ultra Beast is an exciting preview of Calnin’s upcoming album ‘Cut Love Pt 2’. This talented singer has come a long way since releasing the album’s first instalment in 2014 and we can’t wait to see what he does next!
