Indie-Punks The Hard Aches Announce New EP & National Tour To Celebrate

Over the past few years Adelaide rockers The Hard Aches have surged forward on a relentless touring schedule. Somehow, in the space between endless shows the duo have pumped out a new EP, ‘I Freak Out’, due for release early next month.

The two-piece bring enough noise to more than make up for their lack of members, combining melodic punk guitar with pounding drums and evocative lyrics. This is no more true than in the EP’s lead single Glad That You’re Gone. 

An emotionally driven reflection on alcoholism and lost love, Glad That You’re Gone is a bittersweet belter of a tune. The anthemic, sing-a-long chorus combines potently with the indie-punk instrumentation that’s both powerful and expressive. Transitioning into a thick wall of distorted guitar goodness, Glad That You’re Gone is made for festival main stages everywhere with its colossal, upbeat sound.

Amongst a string of upcoming tours with the likes of Luca Brasi and England’s Moose Blood, The Hard Aches have announced a national EP tour in celebration of its release.
