LA’s YESICAN Will Lift Your Mood With Their Debut Single, ‘YESICAN’

During this pandemic we’ve seen all types of creativity pop out in the world. Add to that 3 pals Ben, Jeff and Max from Los Angeles who usually perform in other musical projects, during isolation they’ve teamed up and created the super fun and catchy project YESICAN. They have quickly thrown together some super bright and sundrenched sounds and their debut single ‘YESICAN’ (which yes shares the same title as their name) screams all that is brightness and positivity.

They chose the name YESICAN “for it’s positive affirmation that defines the mentatlity and attitude they aspire in life, especially during these times of uncertainty.”

They’ve honed in their skills and produced YESICAN (single) remotely from each other. The final result is a pure sound of slower indie dance style that combines dreamy synth patches, groove laden bass lines, punchy lo fi drums and super catchy sing a long lyrics. The accompanying video suits the track so perfectly with it’s VHS retro styling.

There is word that the 3 boys are working on a full feature album set for release in October of this year. If this first single is anything to go by, we’re very much looking forward to hearing more come October.
