Low Girl Returns With Another Delight Of A Single, ‘So Cool’
UK indie-pop artist, Low Girl recently unveiled her bright and bopping new single, So Cool. This is the follow up single to her super well received 2021 single, Big Now which has racked up some very impressive online streams.
So Cool is taken from Low Girls forthcoming sophomore EP of the same name which is due out March 4th. It’s a super light classic indie vibe, pacing melodies, soft and dreamy vocals all twisted into three minutes of pure joy. Lyrically the tracks theme takes a slightly darker path, the story of the unattainable love.
“There was a girl I liked who really knew how to switch it on and off, flirting and then recoiling. I’d end up feeling pretty disorientated, trying to maintain some sense of composure and resolve but failing miserably. I knew none of it was good for me, but my tendency to be self-destructive made it inevitable.” – Low Girl
So Cool reminds me of really fond memories with it’s particular style. It is an all round really really fucking cool song, so the title is quite ideal really. Low girl is set to play some huge headline shows in March as well as a spot at the highly respected SXSW in Austin.
