Manuel Garay Wows With New Single ‘Charango Song’

German producer Manuel Garay recently dropped his second release of 2021, a catchy contemporary R&B track titled ‘Charango Song‘.

Manuel has been bubbling up on the scene since the age of 18, touring internationally with his previous act ‚ Cocolores in which he was signed to Berlin-based label Exploited Records, and is now stepping out into his own niche sound. The progressive music producer is creating music that engages with a versatile range of styles, and he places a major focus on “writing and producing songs with singers that maintain a unique touch in their very own way”. Flicking through Manuel’s catalogue it’s clear he’s stayed true to this aim, with genre-bending releases featuring an array of talented artists.

In ‘Charango Song’ the clear star of the show is the main instrument- the eponymous charango guitar. Characterised by it’s high-pitched sound, the charango creates a repetitive, upbeat guitar line, and provides the perfect backbone for the lyrics of acclaimed vocal performer GESS. This dynamic song showcases an undeniable richness and depth to Manuel’s artistry, with the R&B groove and latin-pop influences creating an expertly blended sonic experience. Our only complaint is that at just 2:26 we find ourselves hitting replay too often!
