Premiere: Jurassic Light It Up With Their Debut EP, ‘Stolen Time’

Melbourne indie-punk four-piece, Jurassic will this week unveil their much-anticipated debut EP, Stolen Time and today we have the joy of sharing the very first spin of the five-track masterpiece.

Loaded with power, Stolen Time has something for any suburban punk fan. The opening track Call Home eases you into the next 30 mins or so with some heavy-hitting sing-along vibes and huge guitar riffs. Featuring previously released tracks, Seeker, Stolen Time and Consider, the EP combines some big emotions the band have been through during its 3 years of creation.

“From the day Robbie and myself had our first ever jam, to Angelo and Lachy joining the group along the way, to where we are currently, the songs in this EP represent our journey over the last few years as both individuals and as a band. I think I can speak for us all when I say we’re beyond excited to share this collection of songs with the world. It’s the next natural step for us as musicians and it feels like the best time for us to bring it out.”-  Jakob Nicolandos, Jurassic

“The EP is a perfect snapshot of how lifes been for us in the last couple years. I think there’s definitely a common narrative flowing throughout the whole thing. I guess the word “overcoming” comes to my mind. And at the end of the day they’re some energetic rock songs that are heaps of fun to play live. We’re so keen to do so at our upcoming shows! We can’t wait to see you, Jurassic family!”Robbie Jamieson, Jurassic

Stolen Time is one hell of an impressive debut from one of Melbourne’s most talented. As previously mentioned, if you like your music hard and fast, this EP is for you. Jurassic have nailed their sound on this one and it sits perfectly in their already impressive catalogue of sound. Stolen Time is available tomorrow but you can listen right here, today!
