Premiere: Them Funboys Are Back! This Time As Hunks

Gold Coast’s very own dance floor favourites, Funboys are back with another bonafide drum-machine and acid infused workout for the sweatiest of late night or early morning dancefloors, HUNK. And we’ve been given the first play of this absolute party tune!

Kicking off and taking you straight to drum machine heaven this jam instantly screams fun! And what else would you expect from them rascally Funboys. It’s all drum fun and bass groove with these guys. As the track progresses you’re introduced to some amazing acid flare which compliments the track so well.

The track is the first original release for Funboys on Unknown Records.

“This is our first original release on Wollongong’s infamous techno label Unknown Records. We have previously done a remix on Unknown for Francis Xavier & Horowitz, but ‘Hunk’ will be our first original. It’s a heavy hitting drum-machine workout for the sweatiest of dancefloors. I played this track in a back-to-back set with Kolombo late last year, and he was so into it he offered to come on board with a remix. He morphs the original into a bumpy jam for the house heads” – Says Audun Funboys

Once again this one is being filed straight into my party dance floor playlists. It’s easy to picture yourself on a dance floor with pals and smiling the night away to this absolute winner. The accompanying remix by Kolombo is as equally satisfying with a bit more of that acid and a little less techno but some huge slamming drums!
