Priestgate Give Us Another Taste Of Their EP, ‘Eyes Closed For Winter’

Yorkshire indie outfit, Priestgate last week unveiled their brand new single and video Eyes Closed For Winter, it’s the next taste of their upcoming debut EP of the same name – out March 25th.

Eyes Closed For Winter follows on from the band’s previously well received single, Bedtime Story and it carries on with that indie-dream pop vibe that the band so gloriously deliver, it has all the traditional elements of a classic UK indie tune, big reverb guitar melodies, dream like flowing instrumentation and lead singer, Rob Shofield’s emotional vocal ability.

‘Eyes Closed For The Winter’ is about how time affects us as people & how often we avoid things we’re scared to deal with. Sometimes the best medicine for this is to just close your eyes and accept that things can get a little hard at times.”

With the full EP just around the corner, we’re sure it’s going to be a big year for Priestgate. Eyes Closed For Winter is available now, everywhere. The full EP drops March 25th via our pals at Mirror Records.
