Sydnee Carter Returns With Another Piece Of Delectable Pop With, ‘Rewind’

Perth indie-pop artist, Sydnee Carter has today unveiled her nostalgic new single, Rewind featuring Oscar Dawson. It was co-written with Central Coast duo, Chymes. It follows on from Carter’s debut release, Bruises.

Rewind is a warm heart felt number that has a classic pop ring to it. Dreamscape production mixed with Carter’s soft vocal delivery make this one shine bright. Produced by Chymes very own Cameron Taylor it’s a perfect piece of pure pop, add that with the skills of Holy Holy’s Oscar Dawson and you’ve got three and a half minutes of bliss.

“When we sat down to write Rewind, I was feeling very nostalgic about how easy being a child was and how growing up isn’t as amazing as you think it will be. There’s a lot of emotional and physical ups and downs as you mature and become an adult and it was at a point in my life where I was reflecting on how easy it used to be, and how we don’t appreciate it when we are in the moment/ too young to appreciate it.” – Sydnee Carter
