Teddie Raises The Bar On Her New Single, ‘good grief’

Newcastle indie-pop artist, teddie has today unveiled the infectious and bright new single, good grief. It follows on from teddie’s 2021 release, lightning mcqueen.

Good grief is a smooth delight with it’s smooth and balanced bass lines, dreamy chord progressions and teddie’s cloud like vocal delivery. The track was produced by Campbell Burns of Vacation fame, the collected talents shine a bright light on the future for the pair.

Although musically the track is a fun vibe, lyrically it takes a slightly different tone.

“Good grief is about my first time every experiencing grief, wanting to feel better, but not wanting to forget anything. It’s fun and upbeat as I never wanted it to be a sad song, and I wanted to be able to perform it live without crying. It’s probably the most special song I’ve ever written to date.” – teddie
