DZ Deathrays Drop Banger + Announce Aussie Tour

Brisbane rock duo DZ Deathrays have dropped a new single Pollyanna and announced one of their most ambitious headlining tour to date with seven dates across the country, even reaching far-flung Perth. The Pollyana tour is sure to deliver set after set of high-octane rock, as well as bringing punk pop diva Ecca Vandal along for what will surely be a wild time!

The Avalanches Announce 2017 National Tour

Aussie electronic legends The Avalanches have announced their first national headline tour since…well like in a very long time! The group played their first live shows since 2007 earlier this year at Splendour In The Grass and by all accounts smashed it out of the park. If this is anything to go by, these live shows will be one you don’t want to miss! The Avalanches are also appearing at Falls Festival later this year, and have announced several sideshows.

Halfway Release New Single + Announce Special Show At The Triffid

Brisbane Americana rockers Halfway recently dropped their single Three In And Nothing But The Stars. To celebrate the group are playing a very special show at The Triffid on Saturday, 29th of October.

As part of the first installment of the annual ‘Longplayer Sessions’, the band will play both their acclaimed fifth album ‘The Golden Halfway Record’ and debut album ‘Fairwell To TheFainthearted’. Ticket bundles will also include a limited edition copy of ‘Halfway Live At The Triffid’, so this is one not to miss for die-hard Halfway fans!

Puscifer Announce Australian ‘Money $hot – Round Under’ Tour

The genre-bending group Puscifer are returning to Australia next year in support of their album ‘Money $hot’, released last year. Led by the enigmatic Maynard Keenan, vocalist of industrial-metal giants Tool, the alt-rock group are making the most of their time Down Under including appearing at Tassie’s MONA FOMA festival before jumping around the country for their own headlining tour.

The group’s unique live shows are a marriage of concert and theatre, and will surely be an entirely unique experience that you do not want to miss!

Hitting Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, and Adelaide, the inaugural HARD Festival will be bringing a plethora of electronic artists to our shores in December. Zeds Dead will headline the festival as a part of their world tour for their debut album ‘Northern Lights’, which drops at the end of this month. Also along for the ride are GTA, Destructo, Owlsa, and many more! If you love electronic music, or love chucking shapes, this one’s for you!

Catfish & The Bottlemen Announce Falls Festival Sideshows

British alt-rockers Catfish and the Bottlemen have announced Aussie headline shows in addition to their Falls Festival Appearance later this year!

Having put out two albums in two years, the British quartet are in high demand both in Australia and across the globe. Sydney and Melbourne will be treated to headline shows, so Brisbane fans will have to make the trek south 🙁

The band had to pull out of last year’s Splendour In The Grass at the last minute, but the addition of these two dates on top of their Falls appearance (kinda) makes up for it…

Black Stone Cherry Are Coming!

American hard rockers Black Stone Cherry have announced their return to Australia in 2017! Having supported glam-rockers Steel Panther on their run Down Under earlier this year, the fellas in Black Stone Cherry are returning to tour their new album ‘Kentucky’, and unleash some Southern rock on Australian audiences.

The band also marked a massive milestone in their career earlier in the year, headlining a show at the iconic Wembley Arena in London. Now they’re bringing their arena sized shows to clubs around Australia, and are sure to bring the party with them! Read our recent interview with the band HERE

Sons Of The East Drop New Single + Announce Massive Headline Tour

Indie-folk darlings Sons of the East have announced a national tour in support of their new single Lost Cause. We saw these guys a few months ago and have been eagerly awaiting their return to Brisbane ever since!

The 11-date tour sees the band travelling up and down the east coast of Australia. Never fear Adelaide or Perth fans, the lads have a few shows in your cities that they have yet to announce, so no need for tears yet…save those for the gig when you can cry to the bands beautiful new single!

Patti Smith To Play ‘Horses’ In Full At Bluesfest Sideshows

Punk icon Patti Smith has announced two intimate sideshows in addition to her appearance at Byron Bay Bluesfest in 2017. The singer, songwriter, visual artist, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer released her landmark album ‘Horses’ in 1975, and is now set to play the iconic release in full at her headline dates in Melbourne and Sydney.

Smith’s backing band will also feature two members of her original band, Lenny Kaye and Jay Dee Daugherty. These performances, alongside her Bluesfest appearance are set to deliver some amazing moments!

Led Zeppelin Masters Announce 2017 Shows

The iconic Led Zeppelin tribute show ‘Led Zeppelin Masters’ has announced its return to the Sydney Opera House for back to back shows in January next year!

The show will bring 20 of Led Zeppelin’s classic hits to life, with the help of 36 musicians and vocalists. Both of the 2016 shows at the Opera house completely sold-out, so if you’re dying to get some Zepp in ya you better move fast to snag yourself a ticket!

Josh Pyke + Bob Evans Announce ‘Another Evening With Josh Pyke & Bob Evans’

Aussie folk-pop hero Josh Pyke is once again teaming up with singer-songwriter and ex-Jebediah vocalist Bob Evans (real name Kevin Mitchell). If this tour sounds suspiciously familiar you’d be right, the pair embarked on a similar tour 10 years ago!

Since that first tour, as individuals the pair have accomplished a great deal – Pyke has recently released his fifth album ‘But For All These Shrinking Hearts’, while Evans has also dropped his new album ‘Car Boot Sale’. If you’re keen for a double dose of folk-pop and a generous helping of acoustic guitars then this is the tour for you!
