Tia Gostelow Delivers A Burst Of Joy With New Track ‘RUSH’

Brisbane darling Tia Gostelow drops single ‘RUSH’, an enticing introduction to her fresh new sound.

Tia is soaring into 2020, coming off the back of a successful headline tour in late 2019, being the youngest ever winner of the QMA album of the year award and recently receiving an ARIA gold record accreditation for her hit single ‘Strangers’ ft Lanks.

Diverging from her signature emotionally charged songs, RUSH is a carefree track packed with snappy drums, pulsing synths and upbeat lyrics. Tia’s sweet vocals mix perfectly with the effervescent 80s inspired soundscape of the track, creating the sonic equivalent of a light-hearted summer afternoon spent with friends. This fun, feel-good tune is exactly the kind of vibe-setter we all needed right now.

Working with the brilliant Oscar Dawson (Holy Holy, Alex Lahey) on production, Tia has crafted something really special in RUSH, showing off her incredible skill and flexibility as an artist.

“I feel like RUSH is the perfect introduction to the new sound and direction I’m going in, it shows off the use of synths and the 80’s vibe that is spread throughout the whole record” says Tia. Speaking of this exciting change of sound debuted in RUSH she explains “I’m so proud of it and it’s definitely what I’m meant to be doing at this point in my life”.
