Waxflower Release New Single, ‘Misaligned Love’ feat. Sydney Sprague

Indie punk outfit. Waxflower have recently just released their new single, Misaligned Love feat. Sydney Sprague. It’s the final instalment of their sophomore EP, The Sound Of What Went Wrong which is to be released this Friday April 29.

Misaligned Love comes at you with some pure pop-punk vibes, it quickly opens up to a stadium style rock track with some huge drums, bright guitar work and a classic theatrical vocal delivery. Lyrically the track tells the tale of a love connection that can never quite come to fruition.

“Having the wonderful Sydney Sprague feature on this track was an incredible honour & she really helped to elevate ‘Misaligned Love’ to a place that we couldn’t, without her,” explains drummer Daniel Seymour.

“We’ve been huge fans of hers for a couple of years now, so when the opportunity arose with ‘Misaligned Love’, we reached out to her to feature and thankfully she agreed! She’s just finished touring with Jimmy Eat World & Dashboard Confessional, so no doubt she’ll be over in Australia soon & we can finally celebrate this track together, in person.”

Waxflower have proven that they are at the top of their game with another diverse release scaling over many different sound scapes. Misaligned Love is available now, everywhere. Their sophomore EP, The Sound Of What Went Wrong is available  this Friday April 29.
