Diverse All-Girl Lineup For Brisbabes’ First Birthday Party!
One year on and four gigs later, Brisbabes are back to celebrate their first birthday with a brand new bunch of female talent.
Brisbabes founder Emma Jones said “I can’t believe it’s been one year since the first Brisbabes came out. This is now the fifth one, and I am so excited for what the next year will bring. Thank you to everyone who has supported us, the artists and The Foundry this year. I’m so amazed at the constantly growing female-fronted music scene, and am excited to say I can already see changes in the scene since I first started this”. Returning with a mixture of dark-pop, punk and soulful hip-hop, guests will be serenaded by the sweet tunes of four fabulous female artists. Quintessential Doll will open the night with their strange and intricate sounds, followed by the jaw-dropping dark-pop from Stevie and punk tunes from new rockers Whalehouse. Brisbabes will finish up with the much awaited return of Blaq Carrie, bringing her soulful hip-hop to the stage.
