Nautic Giants Returns To The Gold Coast with Jax Jones and Odd Mob

After a four-year hiatus, the iconic summer series Nautic Giants is set to triumphantly return to the Gold Coast this month. The return event will light it up with headliners Jax Jones and Odd Mob, and a diverse offering of local DJs and live bands.

Set over the beautiful Broadwater at the infamous Yot Deck FKA Fishermans Wharf, Nautic Giants will celebrate ten years since the inaugural voyage. The event has seen some all-star names take the stage in that time, including the likes of Seth Troxler, DJ T, The Bag Raiders, Nicky Night Time, Motez and the list goes on.

Jumping aboard the return voyage this time is one of the UK’s finest, Jax Jones. Recognised globally as the creative force behind some of the most impactful musical achievements in the last decade, Jax has left an indelible mark on the industry. His production prowess is evident in chart-toppers like Duke Dumont’s “I Got U,” “Ocean Drive,” “You Don’t Know Me” featuring Raye, “Breathe,” “Where Did You Go,” and the electrifying collaboration “All Day & Night” with Madison Beer and Martin Solveig. With over 40 million records sold, Jax is a multi-platinum artist adorned with Grammy, Brit, and Ivor Novello nominations. His collaborative spirit has brought him into the studio with a diverse array of talents, including Charlie XCX, Usher, Ed Sheeran, John Summit, Elle Goulding, Saweetee, Joel Corry, Mnek, Rich The Kid, Mabel, and many others. Jax’s magnetic performances have graced iconic stages such as Creamfields Mainstage, Tomorrowland Mainstage, 02 London, Wembley Stadium, and more, solidifying his status as a dynamic force in the music realm.

Joining Jones as co-headline is Australian DJ and producer Odd Mob, who is currently riding a wave of success with a series of chart-topping hits. His monumental track, “Losing Control,” released on John Summit’s label, soared to the coveted #1 spot on Beatport, showcasing ODD MOB’s prowess in the electronic music scene. Before that triumph, his record “Left to Right” garnered widespread acclaim, earning endorsements from industry luminaries such as Dom Dolla, Chris Lake, Michael Bibi, Cloonee, and more. The recent spectacle at BMO Stadium LA, where ODD MOB took the stage alongside John Summit, was phenomenal. Playing to a massive audience of 22,000 enthusiastic punters, ODD MOB delivered an unforgettable performance that further solidified his position as a rising star in the electronic music landscape.

If these two aren’t enough, the epic afternoon of entertainment doesn’t stop there with a mammoth bunch of legends joining the show, including Latour, Adiel Mora, Madison, Walker, Ceccato, Jack Sure, Josese, Radolescent (live), Ferny Fairway (live) and elsewhere deejays.

Nautic Giants drops anchor at Yot Deck (fka Fishermans Wharf) this January long weekend on Friday 26th.  Tickets are available now but won’t last long, so get in quick!
