Sticky Fingers Keeping Aus Happy, Announce New Album & Tour
If you missed out on this year’s Splendour In The Grass, were too hammered to make the Sticky Fingers performance, or, like the rest of us, just couldn’t hear their god damn set (yes, this is aimed at you SITG sound guy), don’t stress! Sticky Fingers have not only announced the name and release date of their new album, but also a kickass tour to go alongside it.
The title of the rowdy band’s forthcoming third album is Westway (The Glitter & The Slums), and it was fully recorded in Thailand. Going off their latest singles Outcast At Last and Our Town, this album could really go either way. More chill vibes? A heavier album? One thing we do know is that Australian rapper Remi makes a guest appearance on the album, but apart from that, who knows what these Sydney rockers have brewed up! Either way, STIFI have the music lovers of Aus eating out of the palm of their hand.
This massive tour will see Sticky hitting up major cities all across the nation. None of this East-Coast only stuff that other bands come out with. Going off their most recent tour, tickets sold out in a flash, so whether you’re a diehard fan, or just a little curious about what all this fuss is about, prep yourself!
