The Legends At UNIFIED Are Offering Creatives A $5k Grant

The Unified Grant article

Heavy music’s hottest independent label, management, and publicity company UNIFIED have announced their latest initiative, “The Unified Grant”. Official announced by their founder and CEO Jadden Comerford during his 2016 BIGSOUND keynote speech, the grant will give people the chance to follow their creative dreams behind the scenes in the music industry.

Comerford says The Unified Grant is an investment in the future generation of the creative industry in Australia. “I’m honoured to announce The Unified Grant. As someone who started a business with nothing, at a young age and on my own, I want to encourage more people to follow their dreams. For me early on this grant would have helped me do CD pressings, or fly to SXSW,” said Comerford.

The Unified Grant comprises of five x $5000 grants, with the goal to foster the next generation of driven young creatives who want to work in the music industry, but don’t play an instrument. So basically if you know or ARE a killer photographer, producer, videographer, web developer, graphic designer, music journalist (it’s the best job ever!), app builder, data analyst, or anything else that’s useful in the music industry, apply now!

Those interested in applying for the grant will need to fill out a questionnaire and compose a 500-word statement explaining why they deserve the grant and what they’ll spend the money on.

Applications for The Unified Grant are now open HERE – applications for The Unified Grant close on the 31st of October. An announcement regarding the successful applicants will be on Monday, 21st of November.
