Vanfest 2016 Drops Sparkling Aussie-Filled Lineup
Attention all city slickers and festival punters! Vanfest festival is back for another year and it’s brought some pretty big names with it!
Since the festival began back in 2014 its seen some pretty impressive artists swing by for an appearance including Rudimental, John Butler Trio, Peking Duk, and Chet Faker (just to name a few), so is it really a surprise how dope this year’s lineup is?
Everyone’s favourite sibling duo Angus and Julia Stone will be headlining the 2016 festival along with sets from notable Australian acts including 2015′ triple j Hottest 100 winners, The Rubens, one of the world’s sexiest vegetarians Xavier Rudd, DRAPHT, and Brisbane’s own rock lads Dead Letter Circus.
Take a breath thought because the lineup doesn’t end there! To satisfy your need for a good boogie the electro-house trio The Potbelleez will be bringing their energy filled vibes alongside DJ Tigerlilly and Mashd N Kutcher.
Vera Blue, E^ST, Urthboy, and Hein Cooper also add to the sparkling Australian talent that will be gracing this years stage, but if for some reason the lineup doesn’t entice you to run and grab your debit card there’s bounds of alternative activities to keep you entertained! Water parks, carnival rides, markets, wine tasting…the list goes on!
The city-meets-country extravaganza will be held over two massive days (25-26 of November) at the Forbes Showgrounds in NSW. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, 6th of September. So dust of your Splendour swag and put it to good use!
