The Toxic Avenger with ‘X’

thetoxicavenger

The Toxic Avenger has been taking on the world since ‘07 and is back again with his third album. The eclectic 12-track release, pronounced ‘X’, exhibits Simon Delacroix’s (The Toxic Avenger) return to a more classic electro-techno sound after exploring electro-hip hop with his second album ‘Romance & Cigarettes’ in 2013. The album takes you on an intimate journey through an intense soundscape of melancholy and mystery with a vast array of vocalists. Hitting two birds with one stone, the French artist released a duel music clip for singles Over Me and Mob in December last year.

Nocturnal Tapes with _Superficial Light_

NocturnalTapes

The debut single _Superficial Light_ from psychedelic electronica duo Nocturnal Tapes features a pallet of simplicity. With a steady rhythm, lively synth, drowsy vocals, and an electric guitar that embraces multiple tones, the single cruises through majority of the song until spiraling into a tunnel of heightened sound that will make your heart race.

You can catch Nocturnal Tapes on their East Coast Tour.

The track is the leading single to Slumberhaze’s final EP ‘Rhyme, Rhythm & Romance’ (part 3) and exhibits a power battle of synth, organ, a driving beat and Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys) style vocals. The boys from Sydney will be hitting up the East Coast of Oz next month in celebration of their release.
