Party In The Paddock Drop Killer Aussie Line Up For 2017 Event
Sydney’s Northern Beaches will be swarmed with festivalgoers once again next March, with the announcement of Party In The Park’s 2017 line up! The third annual festival, held at Pittwater Park, has packed a punch of Aussie bands killing it on the festival circuit recently. Headlining is Boy & Bear, leading a stellar bill of The Preatures, Dope Lemon, and The Delta Riggs just to name a few!
With some real Aussie favourites on the list, you’ll want to grab those tickets early! Tickets are available Thursday 24 November.

Wipe your teary eyes and put on your party pants, because despite announcing their retirement from triple j breakfast radio this week, Matt & Alex are throwing the final hurrah party to end all parties.
First of all, the party is free, and second of all, Matt & Alex are taking it nationwide for five night in a row. Santana Announces Bluesfest Sideshows
The world’s smoothest guitar player Carlos Santana has announced a string of sideshows to accompany his appearance at Bluesfest 2017, as part of his ‘Transmogrify’ tour! Along for the ride is rock outfit The Doobie Brothers, who are also set to play the 2017 edition of Bluesfest. His sideshows are set to hit all of Australia’s major cities (except Brisbane, no surprises there). So for all those who like it smooth, your helping of Sanata will soon be here!
Additionally, the guitar juggernaut will play a stand-alone show in Canberra, accompanied by Aussie favourite Tash Sultana, as well as an Adelaide show featuring Australian blues artist Russel Morris. The Doobie Brothers are also playing their own stand-alone show in Brisbane post-Bluesfest, so be sure to check it out as well!

Spiderbait Announce Headlining Tour To Play ‘Ivy and the Big Apples’ In Full
Aussie rock icons Spiderbait have announced a headline tour for autumn next year and are gearing up to hit all the major cities! The tour will see the band throwback to 1996 to play their third and most celebrated album ‘Ivy and the Big Apples’ from start to finish. Diehard Spiderbait fans are in for a treat, as the band will play all 16 tracks, including many never played in a live setting.
The landmark album was named after a local headline read the same, when a local resident by the name of Ivy Matheson won a gardening competition for her apples. The seminal album contains the banging track Buy Me A Pony, which made history as the first ever song by an Aussie artist to grab the number one spot on the triple j Hottest 100.
So if you’re a fan of good times, hard rocking hits, and a good helping of nostalgia, their shows will undoubtedly be epic!
Harts Announces ‘Smoke Fire Hope Desire’ 2017 Tour
Melbourne-based multi-instrumentalist Harts has announced a nine-date tour in celebration of his latest album ‘Smoke Fire Hope Desire’, stopping in at Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, as well as a selection of regional venues!
Harts recently released his brand new live video for Fear In Me, shot to look like the Aussie wonder kid is performing at the 1967 Monetery Pop festival, alongside the greats including Hendrix, The Who, and Otis Redding, artists who have heavily influenced Harts’ own music.
Along for the ride will be young up-and-comer YEO, who’ll bring his unique brand of electro-pop out to play.
Summer Dance Party Get The Party Started, Announce 2017 Line Up
Announcing their return for 2017, Sydney outdoor dance event Summer Dance has a dropped their four-piece line up for the first event of the dance party series. Hosting both local and international artists, the series will kick off at the historical National Art School inside Darlinghurst Jail, and is set to be a raving summer party! UK house artist Palms Trax headlines the bill, which will also see perforamnces from Roland Tings and Andy Garvey, and many more.
Held on its own outdoor dancefloor, a Summer Dance party is unlike any other, so stay tuned for more line up announcements to come!

Atmosphere and Brother Ali Announce Joint Headline Tour
Acclaimed hip hop acts Atmosphere and Brother Ali have announced a joint headline tour and are set to hit our shores early next year!
Atmosphere released their critically acclaimed album ‘Fishing Blues’ in 2016 via their own label rhyumesayers, and this tour will be the first time the act, comprised of Slug (Sean Daley) and Ant (Anthony Davis), have visited Australia since 2012.
Coming along for the ride is Brother Ali, who made his last Aussie appearance back at Bigsound 2015, where he delivered an invigorating keynote speech. While the rapper hasn’t released any new music since 2012, hopefully this tour announcement means that new tunes aren’t far away!

The Jezabels And Alex Lahey Team Up For Urban Spread Summer Series
Urban Spread has returned for 2017, with a stellar line up of rocking 4-piece The Jezabels and up-and-comer Alex Lahey. As a part of the Urban Spread Summer series, they’ve joined forces in a three-date Victorian tour, dropping in on some out-of-town venues!
The two have both had massive years keeping super busy with album releases and tours nationwide. Lahey, who released her debut EP B-Grade University, toured nationally and skyrocketed to fame on triple j, while The Jezabels dropped their highly anticipated third studio album Synthia and sold-out their national tour to rave reviews! The joining of these two celebrated Aussie artists will be massive shows not to miss!
Young Franco Drops New Single “Miss You” + Announces Co-headline Tour With UV boi
Brisbane-based producer Young Franco has dropped banging new single Miss You, in conjunction with the announcement of his co-headline tour in January! The youngster will be joined by fellow Brisbane rising producer UV Boi.
Throughout the tour, the duo plan to hit some of the largest venues of their careers to date, so it will definitely be a highlight in the electronic music calendar! Tickets are available Friday 25 November.
